"I have benefited hugely from my time at Y2B Fit!"

“With your guidance, I’ve transformed in more ways than I could even imagine. I got stronger, lost weight, toned muscles and actually enjoyed the process! But even more – I’ve changed the ways I think and feel about my health and my body. You make all of the classes challenging but accessible. I love the subtle but supportive community of Y2B Fit! I’m so thankful that I joined!”

– Jackie

"Crystal and Y2B Fit saved me when I wanted to de-stress from work and feel healthier."

“The atmosphere was extremely supportive, the classes were a great mix of yoga, barre and stretching, and I’ll never forget the experience.”

– Elisabeth

"There is such an atmosphere of camaraderie and such acceptance of all skill/fitness levels."

“I feel like Barre classes for me combined with the intensity of cardio sports with building up strength and flexibility. My core is stronger – and it more reliably keeps me stretching. I have less stiffness, aches and pains – a little more reserve to take wear and tear on the body. Having the motivation from both wonderful instructors and great music is really irreplaceable. There is such an atmosphere of camaraderie and such acceptance of all skill/fitness levels. Barre is accessible, fun and Y2B FIT makes it affordable for all.”

Frequently Asked Questions

Membership:

Can I share class cards or a membership?

Class cards + memberships cannot be shared, returned or exchanged. Class cards may be transferred to another person, however, the original expiration date will still apply.

All membership levels auto-renew monthly and require 30-days notice to cancel.

**Memberships may be frozen 1 time per calendar year for a minimum of 30 days and a maximum of 90 days.**

If I purchase a trial membership, when does it begin?

Your membership will begin the day you purchase it. We recommend purchasing a membership on the day you plan to begin attending classes.

When does my membership renew?

Your membership will renew each month on the anniversary of your sign up date. For example, if you signed up May 5, it would renew on the 5th of each month.

Are there benefits to membership?

Yes! Unlimited Members receive 10% off on apparel purchases, 15% off on workshops, access to all livestream classes and on demand videos, and they can bring one guest for free per month.

Attendance & Scheduling:

Do I need to pre-register for class?

We strongly encourage you to pre-register for your classes. It makes check-in move more smoothly, ensures you a spot in the class, and helps you create a commitment to yourself. If you are pre-registered for a class or event that fills to capacity, please arrive at least 5 minutes before class begins. If you arrive less than 5 minutes before, we reserve the right to release your spot to a client on the waiting list.

If the class is full after you arrive, we can return your class fee to your account if your spot has been taken by another client.

*There are no refunds for no shows.*

What if the class I want is full? Do you have a waitlist?

Some classes fill to capacity ahead of the class start time. It is recommended that you add yourself to the waitlist for any class that is full if you would like to be added should someone cancel their reservation. The class reservation software will automatically add you to the class if a spot opens up more than 2 hours prior to the class start time. If you are added to the class, you must cancel your reservation at least 2 hours prior to the class start time to maintain your class on your account. The late cancellation policy does apply if you are added from the waitlist and cancel your reservation less than 2 hours prior to the start of class.

If a spot opens in the class less than 2 hours before the class start time, you will not be automatically added to the class. Please contact the studio to inquire about potential space if you are on the waitlist and it is less than 2 hours before the class start time (sometimes space does become available during this time!).

If you are not added from the waitlist, your class will remain on your account for future use.

How does registration work for workshops and special events?

Pre-registration is required for all workshops and events. Most workshops and events are taught by visiting and guest teachers who require a set minimum number of participants to run the class. If a workshop/event must be canceled due to low enrollment, your registration fee will be refunded to you in the original form of payment.

What if a workshop or event is canceled?

If you must cancel a workshop and do so 24 hours before the event, we will provide a refund in the original form of payment. There are no refunds or credit for no-shows or cancellations made within 24 hours of the workshop start time.

Class Expectations:

What should I expect when I arrive at the studio?

When you arrive for class, please stop at the front desk to check-in even if you are a member. Please plan to arrive 5-10 minutes before the class start time to give yourself enough time to set up your workout space, get acclimated, and connect with others.

How much notice do I need to provide if I need to cancel?

We understand that sometimes you reserve a spot in a class and are unable to make it. You may cancel up to 2 hours prior to the start of a scheduled class to maintain your class on your account.

If you no show or cancel less than 2 hours prior to the class start time, the class will be forfeited (single class and 8 class/month members).

Unlimited Members can late cancel up to 1 class per month with no fee, but will be charged $10 for each late cancellation or no show after that.

This policy helps to keep you accountable for your workout while also ensuring space is available in class for clients who would like to attend.

What happens if I arrive late?

We understand that sometimes you may run late. There is nothing worse than stressing to relax. In order to maintain a peaceful experience for everyone, we cannot accept students more than 5 minutes after the class begins. Please breathe and know that there is another class on the schedule soon.

Cell Phones

We understand that sometimes you need to be available for emergencies. If you must bring a phone into the studio, please make sure that it is silenced and vibration is OFF. If you need to text or receive a call, please step out of the studio space (this includes the time before and after class). Thank you for your understanding.

What to Wear

Wear comfortable exercise clothing. Socks are required for all barre and barre hybrid classes. Yoga may be practiced on the mat in bare feet. You may want to bring a workout towel.

Mats

Mats are required for all classes, and we highly encourage you to bring your own if you have one. We do have a limited amount of rental mats available if you need one. Please be sure to clean the mat after you use it with our mat wipes.

Socks

Socks are required for all barre and barre hybrid classes (no exceptions). If you do not have them with you, grippy socks are available to purchase (price varies depending on style) at the studio. If you do not wish to purchase socks, you will not be permitted to take class.

Do I need dance experience to take a barre class?

No dance experience required! Barre is a full-body muscular endurance workout incorporating the use of light weights, playground balls, and resistance bands to challenge and tone the entire body. It’s low impact, safe, and effective.

What’s the best class to attend if I’m brand new to fitness?

All of our classes are for all levels of participants with modifications and opportunities for a challenge available throughout class. Our instructors are skilled at helping you to find a variation that will work best for your body. We highly encourage you to speak with your instructor before class to let them know if you need any assistance. We suggest that beginners start with Tuck It, What the Func(tional), or Y2Barre + Flow.

Can I bring my child to class?

Under most circumstances, children ages 14+ are welcomed in most adult classes.

Should I eat before class?

It’s recommended that you don’t take class on an empty stomach, but you also don’t want to have eaten a large meal within an hour before class.
